Corporate loans reached 156 MKD bil in 2017 in Macedonia, according to the National Central Bank. This is 2.87 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, corporate loans in Macedonia reached an all time high of 157 MKD bil in 2015 and an all time low of 23.4 MKD bil in 2002. When compared to Macedonia's main peers, corporate loans in Albania amounted to 367 ALL bil, 31.0 BGN bil in Bulgaria, 82.0 EUR bil in Greece and 1.58 EUR bil in Kosovo in 2017.
Macedonia has been ranked 55th within the group of 91 countries we follow in terms of corporate loans, 12 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
