Corporate loans reached 708 EUR bil in 2012 in Spain, according to the National Central Bank. This is 15.8 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, corporate loans in Spain reached an all time high of 952 EUR bil in 2008 and an all time low of 383 EUR bil in 2003. When compared to Spain's main peers, corporate loans in France amounted to 819 EUR bil, 702 EUR bil in Italy and 105 EUR bil in Portugal in 2012.
