Corporate loans reached 934 USD bil in 2012 in Spain, according to the National Central Bank. This is 14.2 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, corporate loans in Spain reached an all time high of 1,325 USD bil in 2008 and an all time low of 482 USD bil in 2003. When compared to Spain's main peers, corporate loans in France amounted to 1,081 USD bil, 926 USD bil in Italy and 139 USD bil in Portugal in 2012.
