Cottonseed oil production reached 7,100 tonnes in 2014 in Chad, according to Faostat. This is 7.58 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, cottonseed oil production in Chad reached an all time high of 21,700 tonnes in 1999 and an all time low of 375 tonnes in 1961. When compared to Chad's main peers, cottonseed oil production in Cameroon amounted to 21,400 tonnes, 685 tonnes in Niger, 13,800 tonnes in Nigeria and 8,000 tonnes in Sudan in 2014.
