Cottonseed oil production reached 7,100 tonnes in 2014 in Peru, according to Faostat. This is 11.3 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, cottonseed oil production in Peru reached an all time high of 37,000 tonnes in 1962 and an all time low of 6,800 tonnes in 2011. When compared to Peru's main peers, cottonseed oil production in Bolivia amounted to 10,696 tonnes, 298,600 tonnes in Brazil, 900 tonnes in Chile and 8,100 tonnes in Colombia in 2014.
