Diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold reached 12.8% in 2022 in Romania, according to ACEA. This is 23.8% less than in the previous year.

Historically, diesel-fuelled as a share of new cars sold in Romania reached an all time high of 55.0% in 2016 and an all time low of 12.8% in 2022.
