Diesel Passenger Cars (As % of Total Cars)

Based on a comparison of 28 countries in 2016, France ranked the highest in diesel passenger cars as a percentage of total cars with 69.3% followed by Lithuania and Luxembourg. On the other end of the scale was Cyprus with 14.2%, Switzerland with 28.6% and Hungary with 30.5%.
