Duck meat production reached 27,593 tonnes in 2016 in India, according to Faostat. This is 0.501 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, duck meat production in India reached an all time high of 40,300 tonnes in 1997 and an all time low of 8,840 tonnes in 1961. When compared to India's main peers, duck meat production in Bangladesh amounted to 52,116 tonnes, 2,965,312 tonnes in China, 5,059 tonnes in Pakistan and 15.0 tonnes in Sri Lanka in 2016.
