Historically, fertiliser consumption in Belgium reached an all time high of 340 kg in 2004 and an all time low of 247 kg in 2009. When compared to Belgium's main peers, fertiliser consumption in France amounted to 141 kg, 203 kg in Germany, 173 kg in Luxembourg and 231 kg in Netherlands in 2013.
