Historically, fertiliser consumption in Botswana reached an all time high of 83.1 kg in 2010 and an all time low of 29.5 kg in 2011. When compared to Botswana's main peers, fertiliser consumption in Namibia amounted to 3.77 kg, 57.7 kg in South Africa, 42.1 kg in Zambia and 36.8 kg in Zimbabwe in 2013.
