Fertiliser consumption reached 15.2 kg in 2013 in Russia, according to Faostat. This is 2.9 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, fertiliser consumption in Russia reached an all time high of 16.4 kg in 2011 and an all time low of 11.0 kg in 2003. When compared to Russia's main peers, fertiliser consumption in China amounted to 364 kg, 203 kg in Germany, 257 kg in Japan and 132 kg in USA in 2013.
Russia has been ranked 126th within the group of 152 countries we follow in terms of fertiliser consumption, 18 places behind the position seen 10 years ago.
