Historically, final stocks of table wine in Germany reached an all time high of 4,846 1,000 hl in 1995 and an all time low of 972 1,000 hl in 1990. When compared to Germany's main peers, final stocks of table wine in Austria amounted to 685 1,000 hl, 93.0 1,000 hl in Belgium and 10,853 1,000 hl in France in 1999.
