Final stocks of varietal red and rose wine reached 136 1,000 hl in 2016 in Germany, according to Eurostat. This is 20.5% less than in the previous year.
Historically, final stocks of varietal red and rose wine in Germany reached an all time high of 197 1,000 hl in 2010 and an all time low of 105 1,000 hl in 2011.
