Historically, final stocks of wine in Germany reached an all time high of 19,078 1,000 hl in 1990 and an all time low of 11,047 1,000 hl in 2011. When compared to Germany's main peers, final stocks of wine in Austria amounted to 2,446 1,000 hl, 351 1,000 hl in Belgium, 51,546 1,000 hl in France and 63.0 1,000 hl in Poland in 2016.
