Final stocks of wine reached 442 1,000 hl in 2016 in Slovakia, according to Eurostat. This is 3.94 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, final stocks of wine in Slovakia reached an all time high of 484 1,000 hl in 2005 and an all time low of 358 1,000 hl in 2013. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, final stocks of wine in Austria amounted to 2,446 1,000 hl, 1,169 1,000 hl in Czech Republic, 2,416 1,000 hl in Hungary and 63.0 1,000 hl in Poland in 2016.
