Fish consumption per capita reached 2.70 kg in 2013 in Armenia, according to Faostat. This is 3.57 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, fish consumption per capita in Armenia reached an all time high of 3.40 kg in 2008 and an all time low of 0.500 kg in 1996. When compared to Armenia's main peers, fish consumption per capita in Azerbaijan amounted to 2.10 kg, 8.00 kg in Georgia, 8.10 kg in Iran and 7.40 kg in Turkey in 2013.
