Historically, fish consumption per capita in Cambodia reached an all time high of 36.2 kg in 2006 and an all time low of 2.84 kg in 1980. When compared to Cambodia's main peers, fish consumption per capita in China amounted to 32.4 kg, 16.8 kg in Laos, 23.4 kg in Thailand and 33.6 kg in Vietnam in 2013.
