Historically, fish consumption per capita in Guinea reached an all time high of 12.8 kg in 2003 and an all time low of 1.07 kg in 1963. When compared to Guinea's main peers, fish consumption per capita in Liberia amounted to 2.50 kg, 8.40 kg in Mali, 25.2 kg in Senegal and 34.1 kg in Sierra Leone in 2013.
