Historically, fish consumption per capita in Liberia reached an all time high of 17.6 kg in 1984 and an all time low of 2.50 kg in 2010. When compared to Liberia's main peers, fish consumption per capita in Ghana amounted to 25.2 kg, 10.0 kg in Guinea, 18.2 kg in Ivory Coast and 34.1 kg in Sierra Leone in 2013.
