Historically, fish consumption per capita in Uganda reached an all time high of 19.1 kg in 1977 and an all time low of 6.40 kg in 2002. When compared to Uganda's main peers, fish consumption per capita in Kenya amounted to 3.90 kg and 1.90 kg in Rwanda in 2013.
