Foreign debt as a share of gdp reached 31.3% in 2011 in Malaysia, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 5.02% less than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt as a share of GDP in Malaysia reached an all time high of 72.2% in 1986 and an all time low of 12.5% in 1973.
