Historically, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in Burkina Faso reached an all time high of 16.1 % in 2013 and an all time low of 7.24 % in 2006. When compared to Burkina Faso's main peers, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in Ghana amounted to 27.3 %, 11.5 % in Ivory Coast, 16.4 % in Mali and 14.8 % in Niger in 2017.
