Foreign trade in services as a share of GDP reached 15.5 % in 2017 in Sierra Leone, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 24.6 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in Sierra Leone reached an all time high of 28.8 % in 2014 and an all time low of 6.38 % in 2007. When compared to Sierra Leone's main peers, foreign trade in services as a share of GDP in Burkina Faso amounted to 15.0 %, 7.72 % in Guinea, 9.01 % in Liberia and 16.4 % in Mali in 2017.
