Fx denominated loans as a share of bank loans reached 29.3% in 2022 in Uganda, according to the National Central Bank. This is 13.6% less than in the previous year.
Historically, FX denominated loans as a share of bank loans in Uganda reached an all time high of 44.1% in 2016 and an all time low of 16.8% in 2009.
