Generation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste reached 16,651 kt in 2014 in Hungary, according to Eurostat. This is 0% more than in the previous year.
Historically, generation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in Hungary reached an all time high of 24,661 kt in 2004 and an all time low of 16,310 kt in 2012.
Hungary has been ranked 17th within the group of 30 countries we follow in terms of generation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
