Historically, generation of non-hazardous waste in France reached an all time high of 343,543 kt in 2010 and an all time low of 287,817 kt in 2004. When compared to France's main peers, generation of non-hazardous waste in Belgium amounted to 62,627 kt, 365,692 kt in Germany, 150,184 kt in Italy and 108,010 kt in Spain in 2014.
