Generation of non-hazardous waste reached 4,531 kt in 2014 in Slovenia, according to Eurostat. This is 2.67 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, generation of non-hazardous waste in Slovenia reached an all time high of 5,919 kt in 2006 and an all time low of 4,413 kt in 2012. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, generation of non-hazardous waste in Austria amounted to 54,596 kt, 3,598 kt in Croatia, 16,054 kt in Hungary and 150,184 kt in Italy in 2014.
