Graphite production reached 8,000 tonnes in 2015 in Madagascar, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 40.4% more than in the previous year.
Historically, graphite production in Madagascar reached an all time high of 20,025 tonnes in 1971 and an all time low of 2,170 tonnes in 2003.
