Historically, gross capital formation as a share of GDP in Bangladesh reached an all time high of 33.7 % in 2018 and an all time low of 0.047 % in 1972. When compared to Bangladesh's main peers, gross capital formation as a share of GDP in Bhutan amounted to 55.6 %, 43.7 % in China, 31.6 % in India and 22.2 % in Myanmar in 2019.
