Historically, gross capital formation as a share of GDP in Uzbekistan reached an all time high of 40.5 % in 2018 and an all time low of 12.6 % in 1993. When compared to Uzbekistan's main peers, gross capital formation as a share of GDP in Kazakhstan amounted to 26.8 %, 27.7 % in Kyrgyzstan and 20.5 % in Tajikistan in 2019.
