Gross savings as a share of GDP reached 20.0 % in 2019 in Poland, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.45 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, gross savings as a share of GDP in Poland reached an all time high of 31.0 % in 1980 and an all time low of 11.2 % in 1993. When compared to Poland's main peers, gross savings as a share of GDP in Czech Republic amounted to 26.5 %, 28.5 % in Germany, 26.9 % in Russia and 9.88 % in Ukraine in 2019.

Gross savings are calculated as gross national income less total consumption, plus net transfers.
