Historically, gross savings as a percentage of GNI in Peru reached an all time high of 30.9 % in 1980 and an all time low of 13.0 % in 1977. When compared to Peru's main peers, gross savings as a percentage of GNI in Bolivia amounted to 16.2 %, 14.6 % in Brazil, 21.2 % in Chile and 16.9 % in Colombia in 2017.
