Hard coal production reached 93.9 kt in 2015 in Bhutan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 30.1% less than in the previous year.
Historically, hard coal production in Bhutan reached an all time high of 136 kt in 2008 and an all time low of 0.055 kt in 1980.
