Based on a comparison of 17 countries in 2012, Switzerland ranked the highest in Health Care Expenditure per Capita - Speciality other then mental health and substance abuse hospitals (Purchasing Power Standard) with EUR 219 followed by Slovenia and Luxembourg. On the other end of the scale was Slovakia with EUR 0.290 , Japan with EUR 1.50 and New Zealand with EUR 2.56 .
