Hemp tow waste production reached 17,930 tonnes in 2016 in China, according to Faostat. This is 39.8 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, hemp tow waste production in China reached an all time high of 97,000 tonnes in 1973 and an all time low of 10,900 tonnes in 2010. When compared to China's main peers, hemp tow waste production in Japan amounted to 1.00 tonnes and 1,514 tonnes in Russia in 2016.
