Horse meat production reached 2,186 tonnes in 2018 in Greece, according to Faostat. This is 23.2% less than in the previous year.
Historically, horse meat production in Greece reached an all time high of 6,066 tonnes in 1962 and an all time low of 2,148 tonnes in 2016.
