Historically, household final consumption expenditure in Bulgaria reached an all time high of 40,376 USD bil in 2019 and an all time low of 5,921 USD bil in 1991. When compared to Bulgaria's main peers, household final consumption expenditure in Greece amounted to 148,344 USD bil, 154,072 USD bil in Romania, 35,160 USD bil in Serbia and 437,207 USD bil in Turkey in 2018.
