Based on a comparison of 4 countries in 2011, Iceland ranked the highest in housing costs as a percentage of household income with 18.1% followed by Czechia and Bulgaria. On the other end of the scale was Croatia with 14.9%, Bulgaria with 16.9% and Czechia with 17.3%.
