Based on a comparison of 33 countries in 2012, Germany ranked the highest in annual immigration with 592,175 persons followed by United Kingdom and Italy. On the other end of the scale was Liechtenstein with 671 persons, Macedonia with 1,715 persons and Estonia with 2,639 persons.
