Imports of pdo wine from outside of the eu reached 2.15 1,000 hl in 2016 in Slovakia, according to Eurostat. This is 90.3% more than in the previous year.

Historically, imports of PDO wine from outside of the EU in Slovakia reached an all time high of 15.5 1,000 hl in 2011 and an all time low of 1.13 1,000 hl in 2015.
