Insurance and financial services as a percentage of service exports from the balance of payment reached 3.70 % in 2018 in Brazil, according to the National Central Bank / OECD. This is 35.9 % less than in the previous year.

Historically, insurance and financial services as a percentage of service exports from the balance of payment in Brazil reached an all time high of 16.5 % in 1995 and an all time low of 1.49 % in 1987. When compared to Brazil's main peers, insurance and financial services as a percentage of service exports from the balance of payment in Bolivia amounted to 0.448 % and 10.7 % in Peru in 2018.
