Insurance and financial services as a percentage of service imports from the balance of payment reached 4.17 % in 2018 in Slovenia, according to the National Central Bank / OECD. This is 4.24 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, insurance and financial services as a percentage of service imports from the balance of payment in Slovenia reached an all time high of 5.56 % in 2016 and an all time low of 1.58 % in 1993. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, insurance and financial services as a percentage of service imports from the balance of payment in Austria amounted to 5.30 %, 8.77 % in Croatia, 3.58 % in Hungary and 11.3 % in Italy in 2018.
