Interest payments on government debt reached EUR 5.20 bil in 2020 in Greece, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 9.65% less than in the previous year.
Historically, interest payments on government debt in Greece reached an all time high of EUR 15.5 bil in 2011 and an all time low of EUR 0.014 bil in 1972.
