Interest payments on government debt reached EUR 22.4 bil in 2020 in Spain, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 10.1% less than in the previous year.
Historically, interest payments on government debt in Spain reached an all time high of EUR 32.0 bil in 2014 and an all time low of EUR 0.099 bil in 1972.
