Historically, expenditure of international tourism in Kenya reached an all time high of 266 USD mil in 2008 and an all time low of 108 USD mil in 2004. When compared to Kenya's main peers, expenditure of international tourism in Ethiopia amounted to 364 USD mil, 873 USD mil in Tanzania and 353 USD mil in Uganda in 2017.
