Number of international tourist arrivals reached 0.255 mil in 2017 in Bhutan, according to Eurostat. This is 21.4 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Bhutan reached an all time high of 0.255 mil in 2017 and an all time low of 0.005 mil in 1995. When compared to Bhutan's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in China amounted to 60.7 mil, 15.5 mil in India and 0.940 mil in Nepal in 2017.
Bhutan has been ranked 138th within the group of 149 countries we follow in terms of number of international tourist arrivals, 26 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
