Number of international tourist arrivals reached 38.9 mil in 2018 in Germany, according to Eurostat. This is 3.82 % more than in the previous year.

Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Germany reached an all time high of 38.9 mil in 2018 and an all time low of 14.8 mil in 1995. When compared to Germany's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Austria amounted to 30.8 mil, 9.12 mil in Belgium, 89.3 mil in France and 19.6 mil in Poland in 2018.
