Number of international tourist arrivals reached 0.892 mil in 2013 in Iraq, according to Eurostat. This is 19.7 % less than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Iraq reached an all time high of 1.52 mil in 2010 and an all time low of 0.015 mil in 1997. When compared to Iraq's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Iran amounted to 4.77 mil, 0.307 mil in Kuwait and 15.8 mil in Saudi Arabia in 2013.
