Number of international tourist arrivals reached 18.3 mil in 2017 in Poland, according to Eurostat. This is 4.5 % more than in the previous year.
Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Poland reached an all time high of 19.5 mil in 1997 and an all time low of 11.9 mil in 2009. When compared to Poland's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in Czech Republic amounted to 10.2 mil, 37.5 mil in Germany, 24.4 mil in Russia and 14.2 mil in Ukraine in 2017.
