Historically, number of international tourist arrivals in Spain reached an all time high of 81.8 mil in 2017 and an all time low of 33.0 mil in 1995. When compared to Spain's main peers, number of international tourist arrivals in France amounted to 86.9 mil, 58.3 mil in Italy, 11.3 mil in Morocco and 15.4 mil in Portugal in 2017.
